Is it just me...
...or has anyone else noticed that if you get a word verification wrong, the next one you get is soooo much longer and soooo much more complicated??! Is it Blogger's idea of a sick joke? The letters are all so distorted and jumbled that it's often hard to read and re-type them (well, for me anyway!), and then, when you get it wrong, they just up the stakes. Gah! :)

Not just you. A while ago (on B*'s i think) I got something like 'juug' but hit'k' instead of 'j', so the next one, I swear in Gothic type face, was something like youyouwanttoleaveacommentonyourfriendsblogdontyouwlyoucantcosyourblindblinditellyoublindgoodluckblindmuppet
You crack me up! Glad I'm not the only one. I hate the way they make so many of the letters look similar in that weird slanty font.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one. I thought that my eyesight was going.
I can never tell the g's from the q's. And seriously, I hate them. When I am grouchy, sometimes I won't comment if the blog has one.
But, I did read recently that those word verifications on blogs are hugely problematic for people with vision impairment as blogger doesn't provide any alternative options for logging in, and thus people who can't see well cannot comment.
Shrinky - You're so right, and the l's, j's and i's often look the same too. I can imagine that it really is a problem for those with impaired vision, which just isn't fair at all.
